Do not underestimate Pre-Vibe !
The second time I found Jimmy in the bar area was when he went outside for smoking. The unknown guys were still with him. I got angry because our practice had not been started and been pushed back.
'It's already 9:30, we promised to start it at 6:30, didn't we ?'I said so with a furious tone but he did not care but just replied'No worries, Smiley says we can play in Pre-Vibe.'
Satoshi :'I know but I am talking about our practice, we agreed to do it from 6:30'.
Jimmy :'We do not have to worry about it'.
No matter what I said to him but in vain. Then my anger came up to the limit.
Satoshi'Do not underestimate Pre-Vibe ! I know its importance more than you do !!'.
Jimmy strongly replied,
'Satoshi, listen to me. Respect me !
In the disorder between us, I said'
'We could borrow guitars today, remember that Paul kindly offered it for us !'.
Unwillingly we began the practice finally.
Now I assume Jimmy was drunk at that moment and we should have cancelled practice.
The reason why I was so nervous was,
5 years ago when attended Vibe we (Lizzyboys) were entitled to play for 30 min, plus special session with Robbo.
We were lucky but on the other hand some bands were forced to shorten their time due to any reasons such as previous band's time delay.
Always the promoter's side do the time keeping, however, we have to be aware this : If we make time delay, moreover if our performance is poor then it will be the worst scenario. This could happen.
As the result, our practice session was terrible for me.
I went back to the bar, Jimmy joined again with the unknown guys.
I sat down with Robbo and his staff but my brain did not work properly. I did not want to show Robbo my upset emotion so stood up and gone back to my hotel.
It was a long way back by walking... time was already over midnight.
