Vibe for Philo '06 Part 2

2nd Jan. at Paul Staunton's home
In the afternoon we brought Jimmy's luggage to North Star Hotel, which I was also going to stay on 4th Jan, then departed to Paul's house.
At this moment I did not know what kind of guitars Paul has, even whether electric or acoustic ones.
We arrived the address and met Paul, since Mar.2003. It looked that Jimmy had already known Paul and he started the talking assault to Paul.
In the room some guitar cases had already been prepared, I found a gut guitar among them then Jimmy took it and started to play and I left him as he was doing.
The ideal one for me was an acoustic guitar with a microphone and when I told it to Paul then took a guitar from the case and said 'This is it, made in Finland. Try now'.
The sound was absolutely the one that I was looking for. There's no more request for the guitar sound itself but a problem was making noise when plugged with the amplifier.
Paul replaced another microphone and resolved the issue. Also he found me playing and said 'looks you have difficulties on your left hand.'
That was right, I play acoustic guitars only occasionally and actually I felt pain from its tension and strings at the time when playing his guitar.
He was taking a tool from the box and said 'I am going to change the bridge to a lower one and it will resolve the matter'.
Oh, Paul... What a nice guy !
He has everything for guitar setting. Yes, because he used to work in Sound & Lighting Store...
I appreciate his kindness... No matter how I appreciate, it won't be enough.
Jimmy decided to borrow the gut guitar. In fact it was a good choice since I had been thinking the one that Jimmy brought seemed feeble.
Rest of the time we listened to CDs with loud volume (I've not had such loudly for a while.) The original number of Paul's band was played on CD, a way of the octave playing on the guitar was very impressive and I favored it shortly.
